Hey Gang,   this is a cool show since the band had a limited amount of time compared to normal shows.  Also, the GD held the torch for the 60s sound in a modern 80s festival mostly filled with new wave, metal and pop acts.  However, NEVER underestimate Shure SM57's cardiod microphones!  Yes, they are the inexpensive workhorse mic of all time mostly preferred to use on guitar cabinets and snare drums, but guess who used the same mics for "room tapes" from the Soundboard , Bear!  When you hear 1969 and 1970 grateful dead drums , you are hearing a 57 on the bass drums, and one overhead the drum set.  The Shure SM57 was on the POTUS' lecturn from it's inception in the early 60s to the George Walker Bush era.  Anyway,  it's cool to see someone else knew the magic of these microphones.  Enjoy !!!!
